Claire Reynolds

After obtaining an honours degree from Durham University, Claire re-trained in law at the University of the West of England, qualifying as a solicitor in 2003. She has worked in the legal profession since 1995, initially as a legal secretary, and has had fee earning experience and her own case load since 1998.

Claire has always specialised in family law and therefore has extensive experience of many areas in the field. Presently she mainly works in the areas of complex financial and children cases. Claire maintains specialism in both these areas to enable her to give her clients an overall service. She also does the vast majority of her court advocacy herself, giving her clients the “complete package” where possible.

Claire has particular interest in Child Support law and has advised and represented a number of clients within the Tribunals process. She has strong links to the Child Support advice team at Southernhay Chambers in Exeter.

She is a member of Resolution and is committed to the principles of trying to resolve family disputes in a non confrontational conciliatory way. She understands however that clients often require family advice at a time in their lives where they are feeling most vulnerable and therefore require a strong advocate. As a result she is known for her firm but fair approach.
