Caroline Ryan

Caroline Ryan joined Hartnell Chanot & Partners as a Partner in 2004, having been Head of Family Law at another practice in Exeter.

Caroline studied Law at the University College of Wales Aberystwyth and Chester Law School before qualifying as a solicitor in 1993.

Caroline has particular expertise in the area of finances on divorce. She is experienced in dealing with HNW (high net worth) cases, including those with media interest.

Caroline has dealt with cases involving: a millionaire lottery winner, police (including high ranking members), armed forces, clients with businesses, self-employed, inherited wealth, farms, medical practitioners (including GP's and consultants) and teachers (including head teachers). Her cases include those with complex financial issues and Caroline works closely with pension experts, forensic accountants, surveyors and other experts where required.
