Terminating a Financial Order
Financial Claims can be terminated by Court Order or Re-marriage.
A financial claim can be terminated in one of to ways. These are as follows:
- Court Order - Where one or both spouses do not wish to proceed with financial claims and the court agrees.
- Re-marriage - If a former spouse remarries before a financial order from the first marriage has been determined, they will have lost the right to make financial claims against their former spouse for all time.
