Jill Read-Brown shortlisted for the Legal Executive of the Year award

The Law Society has announced the shortlist for their Legal Executive of the Year award, and we are delighted to announce that our Legal Executive Jill Read-Brown has been shortlisted.

Jill has dedicated her career at Hartnell Chanot & Partners to seeking justice for victims of domestic abuse and violence. Her commitment goes above and beyond the call of duty in this difficult area of work and extends beyond the provision of advice and support to tireless campaigning on behalf of abused women to raise public awareness, influence policy development and improve the provision of services for victims.

About the awards

The award will be presented to a lawyer who has set themselves apart from their peers. The nominees will have made an outstanding positive impact on the reputation of the legal profession during the year, or be making an unusually significant impact in their practice area or in the service of clients.

BBC Broadcaster Kirsty Wark will present the awards at a prestigious black tie dinner and presentation ceremony which will take place on 23 October at Old Billingsgate in London.
