We are delighted to announce that The Devon and Exeter Law Society (DELS) has presented our Associate Solicitor, Claire Reynolds, with the Young Solicitor of the Year Award 2005.
The award distinguishes the achievements of a young lawyer who exemplifies outstanding standards of the legal profession in the South West. The judges were unanimous in their decision recognising that Claire's clients and colleagues admired her and valued her advice. She had shown dedication to clients, and had a very warm and supportive approach that was appreciated by clients going through one of the most traumatic experiences of their lives. In addition she has good communication skills, was determined and motivated to succeed and demonstrated involvement in community projects and an understanding of the region.
Claire, who is a Mediator and Trustee of Exeter and District Relate, said, "I was very surprised but also extremely pleased to have received the award. DELS is amongst one of the strongest local law societies and so it is a great honour to have received this award from them. The fact that I was nominated is a testament to the amount of encouragement and support we all receive at Hartnell Chanot".
