Emergency Legal Aid

Situations such as domestic abuse require immediate action.

If your case is very urgent we will advise you if it is appropriate to make an application for Emergency Public Funding.

This is only appropriate in urgent cases requiring immediate action, for example situations involving domestic violence and abuse.

If an emergency certificate is granted it is most important that you co-operate with the LSC concerning your application for a full certificate as failure to do so may result in your having to repay the LSC any sums they have paid out for your legal charges.
