Grace Rayner is a specialist Family Law solicitor who joined Hartnell Chanot & Partners in November 2009.
Grace deals with all aspects of separation, divorce and child matters; acting for privately funded and legally aided clients based in the UK and abroad. She has excellent experience advising clients on all aspects of child law matters and child support issues such as contact/residence orders, parental rights and responsibilities orders, child abduction and international family law matters.
In 2006, Grace was involved in the high-profile case of Molly Cambell, the 12 year old school girl taken to Pakistan by her father, triggering a custody battle between her estranged parents.
In January 2008 Grace moved to Argentina to improve her Spanish and to work in a foreign legal office dealing with family law matters. Upon her return in July 2009, she undertook the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and was admitted as a Solicitor in October 2009.
Grace has worked voluntarily for 'Rights of Women', a well-known Women’s Rights organisation offering specialist family law advice and training to women: and was a proofreader of “Seeking Refuge”, a handbook for asylum-seeking women in the UK. She has also assisted with the delivery of seminars on incoming legislation such as Adoption and Cohabitation issues.
