Caroline Ryan
Caroline Ryan joined Hartnell Chanot as a Partner in 2004, having spent nearly 8 years as the Head of Family Law at another practice in Exeter.
Originally from Newport in Wales, Caroline studied Law at the University College of Wales Aberystwyth and Chester Law School before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1993, and relocating to Devon in 1996 with her husband.
Caroline has particular expertise in the fields of ancillary relief (the process which resolves any financial issues between the parties to the marriage), children and domestic abuse; and her broad and extensive knowledge of general family law mean she is experienced in the financial dealing of HNW (high net worth) cases, and some with media interest and private children matters. She is the Partner responsible for marketing and personnel at the firm.
